It’s a wildflower.
The squirrels and birds are always bringing foreign seeds into the garden. Just when I decide they’re actually weeds, these crazy blooms appear out of nowhere. I love watching as the season progresses—when the petals fall apart, and the seed heads take on weird, spiky shapes. I know the birds from our garden will carry those wildflowers to a neighbor's yard and they’ll face the same conundrum next season.
See available pieces at Scott Antiques Market- South Building. I always say on my instagram @easterbrookstudio where my booth will be.
